The Most Fabulous Coat

I low key have an obsession with coats and jackets. It is something about a bold piece that I can layer, make a statement with or just easily throw on that I have always been addicted to. If you ever watch my adventures in thrifting, you may notice I tend to always go for the blazers, coats and jackets first. For now, I have actually banned myself for purchasing anymore coats or jackets unless it's uber cheap. Of course, this ban came naturally after I found the faux fur coat of my dreams. I almost feel like it's the must have coat of the season because it's been a show stopper everywhere I go.

I have to admit, though. I was nervous the first time I wore the coat. I knew it truly was a statement piece and I didn't know how it would be perceived. From the first day I wore it, I have received compliments everywhere I go. It honestly has been one of my best purchases of 2017. I wanted to keep this look somewhat simple so I paired it with all black. The one thing I love about this outfit is this the definition of mixing thrifty, affordable pieces with luxury items.

If you didn't know, the thrift store is one of the best places to get inexpensive, graphic tees. I found this tee for 25 cents last year while thrifting. I paired it with my new favorite jeans, boots and a Gucci belt. It was the perfect outfit to go to brunch with my friends.
