I Finally Jumped on the #VBxTarget Collection!

Am I the only person who jumped on the Victoria Beckham Collection for Target a bit late? When I first saw the collection, I liked it. I just didn't feel the need to rush out and get it. So, about a week after the collection dropped, I stopped in Target and my local Target literally still had almost the entire collection. I was shocked to say the least because if you know Target's designer collections, they typically don't stick around long. What made this collection extra special is that it was the first designer collection Target had that featured both the regular and plus sizes in store. So, when I was in store and saw that plenty of plus size pieces were still available, I decided to have an impromptu try on session.

I was able to try on every piece I had my eye on minus this dress, which I'm a bit sad that I missed. I immediately loved the quality of the Victoria Beckham Collection, but the sizing was a bit interesting. I am typically a 2X in many Target plus styles; however, I had to go up to 3X in this collection. I also had to go up a few sizes in the pants and this skirt. Initially, I only bought three pieces from the collection, but since many are now on clearance, I've bought a few more pieces to add to my wardrobe.

When I first saw the skirt I'm wearing today online, I just knew it would not be the best fit on me. Of course, when I tried it on, I fell in love! It's so unique and beautiful. I have no clue how often I'll wear it, but it was something I wanted to have. I paired it with this Lane Bryant top which is on super clearance right now, Simply Be sandals, my favorite Wrap Life head wrap and studded sunglasses. Next time I style this skirt, I definitely want to add a pop of color.
