Lace and Leather

Spring officially starts in five days and unfortunately, North Carolina has not seemed to get the memo. Regardless, I've decided to slowly start incorporating some of my favorite spring pieces into my everyday outfits. From brighter colors to lace like in today's post, I'm pulling them out and mixing them with warmer pieces to get my spring transition on a roll. In today's look, this dress is certainly not new. I fell in love with it last year after seeing it on Facebook and wore it in this previous post. I decided to have a little fun with it and mix it with leather.

I have always been in love with mixing feminine looks with a little edginess. This look was one I came up with a few weeks ago that I definitely could not wait to wear. I loved mixing this dress with my favorite moto jacket and of course, booties. I threw on some fun accessories including this headwrap I love from The Wrap Life, a simple clutch and this bomb ring I picked up after Triad Goodwill's Rock the Runway Show. I loved the look and I hope it inspires you to bring out some of those spring pieces now!
