Personal Style | Chokers and Frayed Hems

Change is good. Over the last six months, I've changed my hair color twice and brought more fun, adventurous pieces into my wardrobe. One of my favorite things about no longer working in a traditional office environment is the ability to dress how I want, when I want. Don't get me wrong, though. I loved throwing a little spice into my office attire, but there's something nice about being able to wake up and throw on jeans and a t-shirt. I've been trying to step out of my norm lately so when I recently saw this choker t-shirt, I thought it would be perfect for my wardrobe.

On one hand, I love that the choker t-shirt is a basic colored shirt, but I love the edge that the choker feature gives it. It gave my outfit an instant rockstar feel to it. So, I added my cropped moto jacket, frayed hem jeans and ankle boots. The t-shirt comes down a little low in the front so for coverage, I added a camisole, but if I were going on a date or to a concert, I could have easily added a bra with maybe lace or extra straps to give it more sexiness and edge.
