Last Wednesday, I had the awesome opportunity to spend the day with Family Dollar, Cantu Beauty and Body Fantasies.  I couldn't wait for the day to come because I've been not only a fan, but a customer of Family Dollar since early high school.  I was honored that they asked me to be a part of the event and excited to learn that Family Dollar Headquarters is right here in North Carolina.  I arrived early on Wednesday to Family Dollar Headquarters and it wasn't long before we got our day started!

After arriving at Family Dollar, we gathered around and waited for the other influencers to arrive.  I was able to meet Melissa Chanel from Cantu Beauty and Rachel from Body Fantasies.  Soon, all of the influencers arrived including Theresa of Being Reese, Jen of Jenoni and Kim of Naturally Fashionable.  We were then led upstairs where we were introduced to members of the Family Dollar Team and listened to presentations from Family Dollar and Cantu Beauty.  We also enjoyed breakfast and of course, received our Family Dollar Fabulous t-shirts.

After the special welcome and presentations from Family Dollar, we headed downstairs where they had a Mercedes Benz van waiting to transport us around the city.  OK Family Dollar!  We all hopped into the van and headed to our first stop, which was a tour of a local Family Dollar.  When we arrived, we headed inside where Melissa Chanel began sharing more about Cantu Beauty with us.  Cantu has so many products that I didn't even realize they had!  Their Grow Strong Strengthening Treatment immediately stood out to me because it's made to strengthen hair and could be great for my blonde curls.

Rachel then shared more about Body Fantasies with us.  Now, Body Fantasies was one brand I was completely unfamiliar with so I loved learning about some of their mainstay fragrances as well as newbies coming out soon such as Coconut Fantasy.  It's my new fave by the way!  She also shared that fragrances can be layered, which was totally new for me.  After her presentation, Family Dollar allowed us to shop the store.  You guys know immediately where I went, right?  I headed straight to the beauty/makeup aisle!  This Family Dollar had the bomb selection of L.A. Colors Cosmetics!  I left the store with lipsticks, lip crayons (which I'll be reviewing soon) and makeup remover wipes.

After leaving Family Dollar, we headed to Luciano's for lunch.  This place was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious!  We had a three course menu.  The chicken parmigiana and cheesecake were so so good!  After lunch, we headed to a local beauty bar for pampering.  We enjoyed wine as well as learning more about Cantu Beauty and Body Fantasies.  Rachel from Body Fantasies even had a fun game where we took turns guessing scents.  She also talked more about layering and how you can take a simple base like vanilla and add a fruity fragrance on top.  Family Dollar let us shop afterwards so I stocked up on both Cantu Beauty and Body Fantasies.

Our last stop for the day was a restaurant I'll never forget.  We headed to Fahrenheit in Downtown Charlotte.  Fahrenheit sits at the top of the Hyatt Place and has the most amazing views of Downtown Charlotte.  I had to snap a quick video while outside because the view was breathtaking.  Inside, they sat us at a long table where we enjoyed cocktails and delicious appetizers.  We all talked about our day and just how much fun we had.
