You all know how much I love discovering new beauty products. Whether it’s skincare or haircare, I love it all. Last year, I had the opportunity to review the REDBOOK Fall 2015 Red Beauty Box. The box was filled with goodies for your skin and nails with many new releases from popular brands. I’m excited to share that today I am reviewing the new Fall 2016 Red Beauty Box. This year’s box has items for your hair and skin. Let’s take a look at what’s inside!

As many of you know, I’m a huge fan of Dove products. Dove is one of the only brands I can find in almost any store that keeps my eczema and dry skin under control and moisturized. If you were to walk into our bathroom today, you’re bound to find Dove there because it keeps my skin (and my husband’s) soft, touchable and moisturized. I love the Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash because it has a fresh, clean scent and lathers extremely well. It works great with a loofah or wash cloth and I love how moisturized my skin feels.
The best part is that I’ve already seen this body wash while out shopping so I know it will be easy to restock when I’m done. I feel this body wash is perfect for anyone, but if you want to banish dry skin, this is a must try.
OGX Strength + Body Bamboo Fiber-Full Thickening Root Booster plumps tresses with a fortifying blend of bamboo fibers and soy protein for strands that have voluptuous body and fullness. To learn more about this product, click here.
OGX is a brand that I love because of how readily available it is in stores and that it’s very affordable. I wear my natural curls so I wasn’t sure how the Strength + Bamboo Fiber-Full Thickening Root Booster would work for my curls. When applied to my roots, it did lift my curls, but not as much as I’d hoped. I feel since my hair is already thick that this product is not the best fit for me; however, I feel this would work great for those with fine and/or straight hair.
SkinFix Hand Repair Cream is for dry, cracked and irritated hands and delivers healing benefits above and beyond the average hand cream. This medicinal hand cream with 1% colloidal oatmeal and natural active ingredients relieves extreme dryness immediately on the first application. If there is one must-have in my purse at all times, it is hand cream. I hate having dry hands so I love to make sure I have hand cream with me wherever I go. I really like this hand cream because it’s the perfect size to fit into my makeup bag and it helps one of my own skincare issues, eczema. The hand cream is thick, very moisturizing and only takes a small amount to moisturize your hands.
At first, my hands did feel a bit greasy after application, but within a few minutes, the greasy feel left and my hands felt super soft. You can definitely tell that this product has oatmeal in it because it’s super creamy and moisturizing. This will be a must in my purse this winter.
