There is power in sets. If you're wondering what I mean, please allow me to explain. One of the best things you can do for your work wardrobe is purchase a set, including a top and bottom. Why? Mix and match baby! We're getting to a point where many are looking to have a minimalism wardrobe or just overall trying to save money on office wear. This is the perfect way to do both! You can mix and match the set with pieces you have in your closet or simply wear them together. There are so many possibilities.

If you have been paying attention to plus size designers during New York Fashion Week then I'm sure you may have already seen Ashley Nell Tipton's new collection with JCPenney. This is her second collection with the brand and there are so many great pieces in her collection. One of the best parts is that she has so many pieces that can be worn together and mix and matched. The skirt I'm wearing in today's post has a matching crop top. I purchased both of course. Even though I don't advise a crop top for work, the skirt is perfect for the office.

The skirt is really the focal point of this look so I kept everything else somewhat simple. I wore one of my favorite blazers I found on clearance at Lane Bryant, booties and a fun purse. The pieces I am wearing go great with the skirt, but they also have their own sense of flare. The blazer has rhinestones and the purse has fringe. This is a great way to add texture to your look with it still being cohesive.
