This year, I have made a personal effort to support more black owned businesses, particularly businesses that cater to black women. This decision came about for me after subscribing to various beauty subscriptions that never seemed to send products that fit me. I want to support businesses that have women of color in mind. Knowing this, when I saw that The Art of Chanel Christoff Davis was looking for brand ambassadors, I applied for the position.
The Art of Chanel Christoff Davis caters to all women. Her art pieces have been turned into art prints, note cards, hand bags and more! I love that she has art prints of women with big hair and different complexions. The Lola handbag I'm carrying may just be the coolest, most unique bag I've ever owned. It's a fashion statement that I love to make because it shows a woman like me with big hair!
