I think it has become clear to me throughout the Fab Werkwear Series that I like to push the envelope a bit at work. I feel that just because I'm at work doesn't mean I can't have fun with my clothing. As if shaved sides weren't enough, I have the nerve to incorporate prints and colors into my work wardrobe. In this month's installment of the Fab Werkwear Series, I want to talk about printed pants.
Printed pants are one of those articles of clothing I love to have in my wardrobe, but sometimes feel self conscious about wearing to work. When I wear printed pants to the office, I try to make sure the pants have two key elements:
1. The pants include neutral colors. I try to stay away from bright colors if the pants are printed because a bold print and a bright color may be too much for the office. Pick one or the other.
2. They fit properly. If a printed pant is too tight, it can easily be inappropriate for the office.
When I saw these printed pants during Eloquii's recent sale, I knew I wanted to give them a try. I'm glad I did! I love the camouflage with a hint of pink. I received a few compliments on them at work so I think they were a hit!
