I have to admit. Washing my face at night is one of my least favorite things to do, but it's a necessary practice. The reason for this is skincare is top priority in my book and it should be in yours too. In order for makeup to look its best, your skin underneath must be properly taken care of. So each night, even when I dread it, I head to the bathroom and take my makeup off. Today I want to share three super affordable makeup removers that I have used that are not only effective, but easy on your pockets.
Three Effective Makeup Removers Under $10
1. Coconut Oil
When most naturals think of coconut oil, we think of using it on our hair. Coconut oil has so many uses that's it's not even funny. From cooking to haircare to skincare, it's a multipurpose product. I absolutely love coconut oil because it's amazing for removing makeup. It can even remove waterproof makeup. I discovered this when one day I ran out of makeup remover and someone suggested I try coconut oil. I put some on a cotton pad and it easily removed all my makeup even waterproof eyeliner. I'm a woman that loves multipurpose products so if you have some of this in your cabinet, give it a try! It works great for sensitive skin, too.
2. Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
When it comes to drugstore brands, Neutrogena is bae! I have loved Neutrogena for awhile and one day years ago, I randomly stumbled upon their Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. These towelettes remove every single ounce of face makeup (you may need another product for your mascara) and they are super gentle. They even have a Fragrance Free version for my ladies with extra sensitive skin. I particularly love to have these in my travel bag because they have travel sizes at most local drugstores.
3. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Where has cleansing water been all my life?! Oh my gosh! This is a newer product I have recently fallen in love with. After seeing so many people talking about how amazing cleansing waters are, when I spotted this in my local CVS, I immediately grabbed it. This is an all-in-one product meaning it can remove mascara and all of your face makeup. They even have a version that removes waterproof makeup. This has been a staple in my nighttime routine for awhile now. Grab it ladies!
What is your favorite makeup remover?
God bless & stay fabellis,
