If you're like me, you've been seeing IsoPlus in beauty supply stores for years. In fact, it's a product often seen in beauty salons. Although I've seen the IsoPlus for some time, I had my first experience using the products recently. I've been using the Coconut Oil with Ylang Ylang Conditioner over the past few weeks. Keep reading to learn my thoughts on this popular conditioner...
About IsoPlus Coconut Oil with Ylang Ylang Conditioner
Ylang-Ylang, which means "flower of flowers," is a tropical tree that produces blossoms, which range in color from white to yellow to pink. The scent of Ylang-Ylang has calming, comforting and uplifting properties. The antiseptic qualities of the oil promote healing and soothe irritation of skin and scalp. Ylang-Ylang has traditionally been used in hair tonics and is believed to stimulate hair growth.

My Thoughts
When I opened the conditioner, I immediately noticed the consistency. From first glance, it reminded me very much of hair grease that my mom used on my hair back in the day; however, I got a surprise when I touched the conditioner. It is smooth and almost melted under my finger. Oh la la! The conditioner is lightweight and soft. The conditioner can be applied to hair and scalp, but I opted to only use it on my scalp. I applied the conditioner to my scalp, particularly to an irritated portion, and I loved the results. My scalp was moisturized, not itchy and a bump I had from irritation disappeared within a few days.
One thing I also like about this conditioner is that it has the perfect consistency to apply to scalp when I'm wearing a blowout. When I do wear blowouts, I oftentimes have an increase in my dry scalp and have to use a moisturizer. I like to use a solid product instead of loose oil. This is lightweight enough to moisturize the scalp without causing the curl pattern to revert.
Would I Recommend?
Yes. If you're looking for a conditioner that can be used on your hair and scalp as well as while wearing your hair curly or straight, this is perfect for you. Plus, it's easy to locate in stores.
Have you tried IsoPlus conditioners? Is coconut oil a must in your conditioner?
