Now that it's summertime, one of my favorite items to purchase for the warm weather are new sunglasses. I love having several pairs to choose from in my car and my husband's. When GlassesShop.com contacted me about reviewing a pair of their glasses, I wondered if I should try their prescription eyeglasses, but since I knew summer was near, I opted for a new pair of sunglasses. I have never had clear framed sunglasses so I thought they would be perfect to add to my summer collection. Now that they have arrived, let's take a look at the glasses and what I thought.

What I Thought
As I was looking through the website to choose my glasses from GlassesShop.com, I realized that they not only offer cheap glasses, but prescription eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses. Since it's easier for me to see during the day, I just opted for a pair of sunglasses with no prescription. The ordering process was super simple, especially since I was not putting a prescription in the sunglasses. It only took a few minutes to order and they were on my doorstep in a matter of days.
My first thought when I opened the package was that I LOVE these glasses. I also thought the case they come in is just pretty darn cool. It looks like somewhat of a mesh material, but it's actually hard and protects the glasses. As I was admiring the glasses, I noticed something that surprised me. On the arms of the glasses was a designer's name. Not just a random designer. A pretty well-known, expensive designer. Since GlassesShop.com sells cheap glasses, I decided to ask about the designer name on the side.
I was a bit stunned by the answer. I was told that they are not authentic; however, they were inspired by that designer. I was never told that the logo was printed by mistake. Don't get me wrong, I love the glasses, but I'm a bit surprised that a large company such as this would be selling non-authentic designer glasses. In my mind, it's like...to each is own. I still plan to wear them, but I want to be honest in what I received.
Would I Recommend?
Maybe. Although I was not a fan of the glasses having a designer's name on them that clearly wasn't authentic, I love the glasses. I also love their prices. Plus, they have a variety of styles. You decide what works for you.
