If you have been following me on Facebook, you may know that I gave up wearing foundation everyday almost a year ago. Due to lack of time and my discovery of BB Cream, I began using BB Cream instead of my usual foundation. Not long after I began using BB cream, I began seeing CC creams emerging on the scene. Of course, I didn't know the difference between the two, but thanks to The Everything CC, I now do. Keep reading to learn the difference between BB and CC creams as well as my review of The Everything CC cream...
The Difference Between BB and CC Creams
The difference between BB and CC creams is subtle--CC generally stands for “color correcting” and the products are meant to address issues like redness or sallowness (usually with light-diffusing particles), whereas BB creams are like lighter foundation with a few skin care benefits thrown in. - Source

My Thoughts
When I first received information on this product, I was so intrigued. The Everything CC cream not only had wonderful reviews online, but according to those reviews, it gave many people a glow and didn't budge throughout the day. I had to give it a try! I can say that I now see why there is so much hype around this product. It is so lightweight on my skin. While applying, it simply feels like I'm applying lotion to my face and once absorbed, it feels like I have nothing on! Plus, it doesn't transfer throughout the day and gives my skin a beautiful glow.
As far as coverage, this product provides light coverage. It is slightly buildable, but it doesn't quite build to medium coverage. With this product, although not used in photos, I would typically wear a concealer for extra coverage; however, I feel completely comfortable wearing this without concealer because it gives a glow that gives the appearance of smooth, even skin.
Although I do love this product, there were immediately a few things that I noticed once I opened the package and began using the product. I immediately noticed how small the package is. The Everything CC cream is only one fluid ounce. In comparison to my typical BB Cream, it has a third less fluid ounces. Plus, my usual BB Cream is only $10 for 1.5 fluid ounces versus The Everything CC, which is $23 for one fluid ounce.

Lastly, beyond price and size, I was disappointed in the shades for this product. I actually had to wear the darkest shade, which is Dark. As an African American woman who loves beauty, limited colors for women of color is a common theme I see in beauty products. Although this is a wonderful product, I wish more women of color could actually wear it.
Would I Recommend?
Yes. Even though I wish this product could be used by more women of color, I would still say that overall the product itself is wonderful. The lightweight feel, glow and no transferring makes this product a winner in my book. Also, if you are wondering about the longevity of this product, I would assume that a fluid ounce may last up to two to three months with everyday use. When you factor that in, the $23 might be a splurge worth taking.
