I remember three years ago when I went natural, I was apprehensive about two things. I was worried about how I would look with short hair and I had no idea how to style my own hair. Today I can say that going natural was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have learned to love the natural curls that God uniquely designed for me. Plus, shirts with sayings like, "Pardon My Fro," make natural hair even more dope!

What is your favorite thing about your hair? How are you wearing it currently?
God bless & stay fabellis,
I've been natural since 2008 and loc'd my hair four years later. Best decision I ever made because I've always wanted locs. My hair is so thick yet manageable. I style it how I want and I feel so feminine. I felt just as feminine when I had less than an inch of hair. Just being comfortable in the skin you're in just adds to how your hair can make you feel. Once mine gets to be waist length, I'm going to cut it in layers, then later in a bob when I hit my 30's. Only downside: so much hair to manage! lol
ReplyDeleteCute! Loving the tee & the camo pants. Great styling, sis!

ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! I love your style and absolutely love your hair.
ReplyDeleteYou have absolutely gorgeous locs! I think it's dope that you pretty much have a plan for each phase of your locs. I know that a bob with them would be fly. In fact, if I didn't enjoy playing with weaves, I would probably have locs myself. Thanks for stopping by Janessa!
