As many of you know, I am a true lover of makeup, but what's more important to me is healthy skin. Many times people do not realize that flawless makeup usually yields from healthy skin. Now many of you may find this hard to believe, but if you get close enough to some makeup wearers, you will notice bumps, pimples or marks. Because of this, it's essential to always put the health of your skin first.
Since college, I have been an advocate of Clinique's three-step system. With their skin system being my go-to for so long, I was a little apprehensive when given the opportunity to try something new. However, they always say change is good, right? So...in pops, Mary Kay's two-step system, which includes the Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser and Timewise Age-Fighting Moisturizer.

Mary Kay states that the Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser... "cleans, exfoliates and freshens in one step" and the Timewise Moisturizer "firms, softens and reduces the appearance of fine lines. Hydrates for up to 10 hours."

My Thoughts
I tried the sample over a two day period. It felt very strange to me to not use a toner because with Clinique, that is the second step out of three steps. However, I was impressed with these two products because of how gentle they are. Also, I loved the lotion because with my oily skin, a lot of lotions either give too much or too little moisture. This gave me the perfect amount. It made my skin feel smooth, comfortable yet matte.
Would I Purchase?
I feel like this is the perfect product for anyone of any age who is looking for a new skincare item and/or less steps when it comes to washing their face. Right now, I'm not sure if I would purchase it for myself. It would be an adjustment for me to get used to not using toner. However, the lotion does have a special place in my heart.
Would YOU purchase this skincare line?
