Fashion Trend: Hi-Lo [Part Two]

Hello Beauties!

Before I jump into this post, I want to thank all of you who continue to read and support this blog.  Beauty writing has been a passion of mine since college and I'm happy to share that I was just offered an opportunity to be the beauty writer for Kinky Curly Koily Me, which is a popular, natural hair website created by the owner Jenell.  I feel blessed to have the opportunity and I have some great things in store.  I will keep you posted on when to expect the first posting.

Now to the blog post...

As many of you may know, I am loving this season's hi-lo trend.  In a recent post, I showed the purple hi-lo shirt pictured here that I scored for $10 from Conway.  On that same day, I found a great, striped hi-lo skirt at Forever 21.  Since it was less than $20, I scooped it right up.  Did I mention it was the last one?  Yup!

Here is How I Styled it:

Since this skirt was rather long, I paired it with a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's Foxy Wood platforms.  I loved the color combination as well as the height and comfort these shoes give.  I also paired it with chunky bangles to give a fun look.
