There are few pieces that I feel are key to having a functional, amazing wardrobe. I constantly preach about having white t-shirts, a great jacket and jumpsuits, but one piece I have not mentioned is the maxi dress. A maxi dress is great for your wardrobe because most can be worn all year long. Since maxi dresses have more length, it's easy to wear with sandals in the summer time or booties and a leather jacket in winter. A wardrobe with classic pieces is great, but pieces that can be worn all year long is when you're really winning.

Earlier this year, I worked with GCGme to style one of their jumpsuits in a winter style post. GCGme makes great quality pieces so when they recently reached out to me again to this time style a maxi dress, I couldn't wait. I chose the ELLA dress and fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on. This dress is so beautiful and flowy. I loved it so much that I interrupted what my husband was doing just to show him. It just creates an amazing silhouette. This is one of those must-have dresses.

I paired the ELLA dress with a comfortable pair of Simply Be heels. One of the things I love about this dress is that with me being 5'5 without heels, the dress hits the floor. I love maxi dresses that fully cover my ankles and the majority of my feet. This dress is so comfortable to wear and also thick enough to not be see through. I can't wait to wear this into fall.
