I had a thought over the weekend. Just because my birthday is over, doesn't mean that #FabsThrifty30 has to end. I'm going to be 30 for the next 11 months so why not continue sharing vintage style throughout the year! I love sharing how easy it is to incorporate thrifted pieces into your wardrobe because it's a great way to save money and an even better way to find unique, one of a kind pieces. Today's thrifted piece was shown in my last vintage haul on YouTube.
I can't take credit for finding this amazing piece at Triad Goodwill, but as soon as it was passed on to me, I knew exactly how I wanted to style it. There were two things that immediately grabbed my attention about this piece. I loved the sleeves and the fun print. When thrifting you can find current trends in thrift stores, but you can also find true vintage pieces. I've never seen a print like this and the unique sleeves take it to another level.
I opted to play up the print by adding even more color. I added these yellow earrings and mustard heels. I also paired them with high waisted jeans from Simply Be, which are super comfortable (and affordable). The great thing about this top beyond the fact that it was less than $4 is that it could also be worn to work. I can see this looking amazing with solid wide leg pants of just about any color. Also, this top is an example of why it's so important to try things on. This top did not have a size tag inside, but I knew from the feel of the material I would be able to wear it.
