Last week, I had the awesome opportunity to drive a 2016 Toyota Camry XSE for a few days. I had been looking forward to seeing the Bad Boy Reunion concert so it was the perfect time to test drive the Toyota Camry XSE on our day trip to Charlotte. There were so many aspects of this car to love. If you've ever driven a Camry, you know that these cars are not only spacious, but just comfortable to be in. I know because I come from a Toyota family. My mother drove Toyotas while I was growing up, including a Toyota Camry, and I currently own a Toyota Corolla. Toyotas are great cars, but this car surpassed my expectations.

As we drove to Charlotte to the concert, it didn't take us long to fall in love with the car. We opened the moonroof and were playing Sirius XM. The air felt amazing coming into the car and I felt safe on the highway due to the Blind Spot Monitors. So, before I give away all the bomb features of the 2016 Toyota Camry XSE, let me share five reasons this car is a fabulous ride!

1. Moonroof

When I first sat in the Camry, I was in awe of the moonroof. To be honest, I've never had a car with a sunroof so this was new for me. As we were traveling down I-85 on our way to Charlotte, I asked my husband to open the moonroof. I love the moonroof because you're able to open it and just let the sunlight into your car. You also have the option to open the additional panel to let the outside air in. Plus, you don't have to open the panel all the way. We opened it partially and loved the fresh air that was coming in. Can you imagine this moonroof on a fall day? It would be perfect!

2. Backup Camera & Blind Spot Monitors

Technology is an amazing thing. The back-up camera and blind spot monitors made driving so easy. As we were driving down the highway, the blind spot monitors were great to have because I could simply look over to my side mirrors and know not to pass due to an oncoming car. It was even nice when we were parking the car because it let me know if someone or another car was too close and I needed to stop. I prefer to back into spaces at our apartment complex so the back-up monitor really helped me make sure I was perfectly in the space.

3. Bluetooth, Music & Apps

One of the main reasons we were so excited about the 2016 Toyota Camry XSE is all the music options. I mean... On your way to a concert, it's only right to have the music going and the moonroof open. The options in this car are crazy. When I first received the car, I checked out the stereo and saw that you could connect your Bluetooth, listen to a cd, listen to the radio or listen to music applications like Sirius XM. It was very easy to connect my phone to the Bluetooth so the first day, I spent driving around Greensboro listening to my Pandora stations. Then on our way to Charlotte, we listened to Sirius XM. All the music options were just amazing and the sound quality was great. There is also an area to plug in a USB cable or AUX cord too!

4. Comfort & Space

I first mentioned one of the things I love about Toyota Camrys is the comfort of the car. This car was not only spacious, but had Ultrasuede seats that were really soft to the touch. The Toyota Camry has a slightly wider body that my current Toyota Corolla so sitting in and driving this car was just very comfortable. My husband who is over six feet tall also found the car comfortable with his longer legs.

5. Gas Mileage

If you know me, you know I believe in being fabulous on a budget. That even goes with cars! One of the main reasons I became a Toyota owner is because of the great gas mileage Toyotas get. This Toyota Camry gets 28MPG. We drove the Camry from Greensboro to Charlotte, back and around Greensboro throughout three days. We only used a half a tank of gas the entire time. I was amazed at how little gas we used. It's great to know that with this car, when you fill up, it will last awhile.

Overall, I simply loved this car. I joked with my husband that if I had the money, I would have gladly bought it and kept it with us. It was a beautiful car with so many fabulous features.
