We are officially on Week Two of the June Style Challenge! Last week, our challenge was "Sparkle and Shine," and this week we are focusing on "Thrifted from Head to Toe." With this week's challenge, we were required to wear all thrifted pieces minus shoes. Surprisingly for this challenge, I was able to wear a completely thrifted look including shoes.
With this challenge, I knew that the easiest way to do a completely thrifted look would be to wear a dress. I adore thrifted dresses! Many of the dresses I have thrifted have gorgeous necklaces, bold prints and/or perfect hemlines. I recently thrifted this dress from one of my favorite thrift stores, Value Village, during their monthly 50% off day.
Dress: Thrifted - Under $3 (Value Village) Heels: Thrifted - $15 (Shop Mia's Closet) Purse: Thrifted - $10 (Dooney & Bourke) |
I paid less than $3 for the dress. The best part about the dress is that it also has pockets! I paired the dress with a vintage Dooney and Bourke clutch and Steve Madden platforms I bought from Shop Mia's Closet almost three years ago. The entire look is under $30!

ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks Louida! I'm going to get you into thrifting one way or another!
ReplyDeleteLove the complete thrifted outfit idea! The only thing is: I just can't wear shoes that have belonged to someone else over an extended period of time. I realize that others have tried on shoes that I have bought, but it's just not the same as wearing someone else's shoes. My daughters make fun of me, but I just can't help it.:) Cute outfit!!
ReplyDeleteYes girl you need to because I need some help!
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a fan of navy and white polka dots. This is the perfect summer dress and with it being thrifted makes it even better!
Thank you Alli! Trust me, I completely understand. The idea of wearing someone else's shoes still freaks me out a little. With these shoes, I thrifted them from someone's closet who told me how many times she had worn them. With an actual thrift store, I don't think I could do it. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with that dress!!! You look amazing and I can't believe the whole thing was thrifted. Gorgeous
ReplyDeleteThat dress is too fun! Loooooooooove the polka dots!
