Can you believe that after this week there is only one more week of the June Style Challenge? Time truly flies and I have to admit... Out of all of the challenges we have done so far, this week's was the most different for me. Week Four's challenge is "Sneakers and Skirts." I rarely wear sneakers and the thought of pairing them with a skirt was totally beyond my norm, but what is a challenge without pushing your normal boundaries?
One thing I love to share through my posts is that I believe you can be a Christian and fashionable. With this, I immediately wanted to style my Holy Chic crop top. Christianity doesn't necessarily mean long skirts and no makeup. You can be a confident, fashionable Christian.

In addition to the crop top, I wore a black skirt and my Nike Terminators. Even though this is not my norm, I love how the pictures came out. It was fun to do something new!

ReplyDeleteBeautifully executed!! I love your new hairstyle as well. I will have to try this soon. Maybe I'll do a maxi. I must, must, must agree with you about being Christian and fashionable. I grew up in a Holiness church where we had to wear long skirts and no makeup. Thank God for deliverance though... lol. Here's a casual look I wore a couple weekends ago. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI have rocked sneakers with a skirt in my younger twenties but I don't now since I hardly ever wear tennis shoes. But girl....you rocked this look!
